I bought this bed because I could not find a wooden bunk bed that I liked within my price range. When I cane across this bed on amazon I thought it was a good choice because of the trundle.The bed arrived sooner then expected which was great since it was for my sons birthday. It came in two big boxes and there were no damages upon arrival.The bed was fairly easy to assemble. It took 3 people (me, my husband and his brother) 2 hours to assemble. It would have been quicker if we didn’t put a part on backwards.The bed seems very sturdy my son is only 5 yrs old so yea. I have laid in the bed before and it did not seem to droop or creak. We have not bought a mattress for the trundle as of yet so I cannot speak on the sturdiness or the opening and closing capabilities.Overall great purchaseHad to modify it to use on carpeted floor. Rolls good on hardwood floorsFor the price of the bed we are slightly disappointed. It is very easy to assemble and follow the instructions however some of the pieces of wood that are painted white are very dirty and some not painted well. Luckily the angle we have it you don’t see. Also the pull out part which is sturdy but it does not have rails. Makes it difficult to pull out and push in. If you follow the instructions it is built pretty good. All in all I would recommend only if they dropped the price just a little bit say like 50 to 75 bucks.I like the bed overall. The only problems were that the wheels were too small for a carpeted bedroom and one of the drawers came damaged. Other than that I would totally buy it again.Easy to Emsably.Secured I love it my kids are to happyI bought two of these beds. Trundles do not have enough wood to hold the wheels. My husband had to make supports and reinstall the broken wheels. Also, one of the side rails was cracked. I was disappointed in the quality. A small 5 year old girl should not be able to break the wheels on a trundle bed.Horrible!! The bed is cheaply made and it is not painted well. It looks like they painted one sheer coat of white paint! Also it us not sturdy like you think it will be. Don’t waste your money on this, you can definitely find something better in Wayfair.Too much in a small space for me. Trundle might roll easier if larger rollers for carpet.
