Pros:I really like the stair design and that was the main reason I got this bed. My dog is even able to climb up and down and it's space saving for my small room. Design overall is nice and sleek.Cons:Let me voice my biggest complaint. If you get this from quartet expect it to take FOREVER to arrive. Shipping was a nightmare, ETA on here is 2 weeks on arrival. It ended up taking over a month, the shipper put in the wrong address and I ended up having to drive to Fedex and pick up the package myself as they weren't able to re-adjust the address change after 4 attempts and 2 weeks of delays. There are a couple of issues, with this bed but after that nightmare delivery I don't have the energy to return it. The packaging was not great, lots of packaging foam dispersed into my room after I opened it and yet it still managed to come with scratches. There is also some poor quality control as a few metal pieces are a cm too short and don't fit well onto the bed. The desk portion of it also came with a chip. The bed also creaks even if you tighten everything very tightly. The desk is also too thin in width to be usable with a monitor and I'm trying to find a way to replace it at the moment.Putting it together took me about 5 hours by myself. The instructions are pretty clear, but it's best done with two people as some parts are frustrating by yourself.I like the design, but the quality isn't great. Is it worth $400? No, honestly it's not. I'd pass if I were you.I read the review of another customer AFTER I purchased the bed. The bed is squeaky and shifts from side to side when occupied.(Even though it is anchored securely to the wall.) The metal slats that hold the bed are of subpar quality, bending under weight. My son is 10 and of average height and weight. I was hoping this bed could be used for at least 4 years but after assembly, I think 2-3 at best.I like the design but, I don't think it's worth the price. I don't recommend buying!!
