The quick review:Cons: Quality control needs improvement, packaging needs improvement, instructions need improvement, product design needs improvement. Pros: It works, looks decent and is probably one of the cheapest (cost) frames you’ll find. The long review:The bed frame was packaged barely adequately with some components slightly bent (but still workable). The hardware pack inside was shoved down in between components which bent the package and broke it open, spreading screws throughout the box. The plastic bag that contained the bed “guides” or “keepers” was also broken open and strewn about. On the positive side, the box exterior was heavy cardboard and taped completely across all seams, so nothing that got loose truly escaped. The product clearly needs better quality control. One of the threaded holes on the outer portion of the frame wasn’t threaded. Since I didn’t have a correctly sized tap, my frame has one part which wasn’t able to be connected. Also, for the first step of my assembly instructions I had no components labeled 1 and 2. Instead I had four components labeled 2. They were the correct components, but were mislabeled. This was obvious though, despite not matching the directions. Almost everything was out of square and had to be flexed to fit. The assembly took longer than it should have because of this. Following the basic rule to not really tighten screws down until the end of each assembly step, it is workable. Quality wise, I think they need to check the tolerances on the manufacturing equipment and at least retrain any quality control personnel. The instructions could also be reworked. Having assembled my frame, I’d completely recommend reworking the directions. This frame should be assembled from the bottom and middle outward. It’s a bit of a pain to assemble the bottom middle with it mostly assembled, and if I had to reassemble mine I’d do it that way.During the assembly I did notice a couple of things that I chose to fix. I placed some plastic between some parts that moved and made noise a bit, and made some bigger feet to save my wood floor. Both sets of pieces were 3D printed fairly quickly in TPU.After assembly, my impression of the frame improves considerably. The frame feels really sturdy. It feels good and honestly looks pretty good. I agree with the comment about kicking the legs, and that’s probably my only complaint with the assembled frame. The leg in the middle of the sides of the bed probably needs to be there, especially the way it’s currently designed, but it’s in such a bad place for my toes!Everything considered, it’s an ok bed frame. I don’t know that I’d purchase it again if I needed another in the future, and I don’t know that I’d purchase it again if I had it to do over again. I liked the idea of the pieces that hold the bed on the frame, but they honestly fall right off if the bed moves. I could print better guides, I had hoped that they might be metal and held on with a set screw or similar hardware. There’s probably better bed frames out there, but overall this one works. I put some thought into the 3/5 rating I gave this frame. I almost felt that it was overly generous since I’m not quite fond of the frame, but honestly it does work, is very affordable and does look pretty good and for that it earns the rating! If you need a bed frame, want it for a very reasonable price, and don’t mind pushing and pulling parts into place during a slow assembly; this frame is for you!Got this frame for my sons bedroom and he loved it and it is sturdy and comfortable. Was easy to assemble alone.Very sturdy but I feel like the laws of physics got the better of me. I'm not sure the guy that designed this understood the whole gravity thing. Picture (if you will) trying to hold up one side while simultaneously allen wrenching the opposite side and trying not fall over yourself. It was entertaining, I won't lie. Maybe a little scary. It wasn't until I was almost completely done that I realized I could've used the legs to hold up the side I needed to stabilize. I might be a little dense, what can I say.Anyway, good product minus the fiasco of putting it together. I'm not sorry for my purchase. Nor the adventure of assembling this masterpiece.Very sturdy and easy to assemble, haven’t had any issues :) the corners however are a little sharp and scratched me when getting out of bed but put some tape around it and it’s all better nowVery very good.Fairly easy to put together. There were no instructions included in the manual for the mattress guides. There was a bag of little black dollhouse chairs left over, and I had to go the pictures on the Amazon site to determine they were the mattress guides. Not mentioned anywhere in instructions. I ended up putting a pool noodle around the legs once I discovered the legs could be a toe breaker if not wrapped in something. Much better option for my purposes than a traditional bed frame, and box spring. Happy so far, and my first house guest likes it too.
