We bought this bed base because we needed something quickly and in a pinch, and we honestly didn’t expect it to be this high-quality for under $200. We’ve been using it for about four weeks, and it’s holding up really well. The steel frame is sturdy, with plenty of crossbars and supports, and the wood parts feel solid and well-made. I also love the hidden compartment—it’s a clever addition! Another nice surprise was that it even came with nearly one extra of every piece of hardware, which made assembly easier. My only minor complaints are with the tape quality for the LED strip on the headboard, which could be stronger, and the drawer latching method; the screw-and-hole design doesn’t quite keep them closed. Overall, though, it’s a fantastic buy for the price!
