Got this in attempts to keep the kids sleeping in their bed for the whole night. Mission failed. I've set up many outdoor camping tents and this one could have been easier. For the price it's ok, not great and here's why.Typical tent poles come connected via elastic bungee system. The poles that run length-wise to the tent do just that, easy peasy. The rest of the poles that make the arch do not. I thought it would be for ease of taking apart, but is more of a pain. The fiberglass inner core is hard and sheer. They put a plastic sleeve and rubber caps on either end, which do not stay on. Highly recommend gluing the ends else they will fall out when taking apart or get stuck to the other end of other poles that connect to it. On top of that, there is an order you have to put it together since some have with the metal attachment to adapt to other poles vs. others just have 2 rubber ends to use as an extension. First try, mediocre instructions, took me 30min. Subsequent tries 10min. Just takes a bit of patience as sleeves where the poles go into are sewn fine, but can see that it's not durable and long lasting for many many setups and tear downs of this tent. The plus side is that there are 2 air vents on the top to look through as well as mesh coverings on each entrance side for that open door concept look.Returned not due to the product itself, but didn't work to keep kids in their room. It does fit 2 toddlers/children side by side and 2 pockets for knickknacks. Obviously this is a play tent and doesn't work outdoors. Will I get again? Just make a fort out of blankets...My daughter really wanted a bed tent to help with night time anxiety. The problem is she has a loft bed. There was no way to slide the base of the tent under her mattress and then assemble the tent part. So instead I tried to assemble it and then slide the base under her mattress. But the rails on the loft bed made this impossible. So now she using a sheet on a foam mat. For normal beds, it would probably have worked out fine, we just had a unique situation. Other than our unique bed style, its a good bed tent.I don’t normally leave reviews, but because I do rely on them often, I feel the need to post one on this product. I purchased this tent for our vacation. I have a 2 year old that has never slept anywhere else aside from his crib/bed. For our beach trip, we had booked a hotel with 2 queen beds and I had no idea where he would sleep. His bed at home is close to the floor, so we never had the worry of him falling out. And we never used a pack and play, so that was not an option. This tent was perfect. I put it together at home first and let him play in it so he was familiar with it. Then I set it up on top of the queen bed in our hotel room. I put a sheet inside of it and his blankets and stuffed animals. He loved it. It made bedtime so much easier while away from home. He had his own little fun sleeping area, the freedom to crawl out, and the security to not fall off the bed in the night. The tent was easy to set up and able to withstand a wild toddler bopping around inside. To ease my mind about it possibly rolling off the mattress (a nervous mom is constantly thinking of the worst possible scenarios), I put my fabric leg weights in the side pockets to serve as anchors. I don’t know if this is necessary, but the way he was jumping around in it made me worry. I still had enough room for his books. I did consider getting a privacy pop tent, or one that the mattress would fit inside, but a queen tent for a toddler seemed huge. This is the perfect size and makes them feel more secure. I don’t know if we could’ve survived our vacation without this tent! He even napped in it in the afternoon. We will definitely be using this for future travels. In the end, this is going to be great for my little guy. Putting it together was another story. One of the most difficult/frustrating things I've constructed and I've constructed A LOT. Directions are one slip of paper with a drawing that's hard to decipher. Totally inadequate instructions. Might help to have two people, but that doesn't make the directions clearer. Would be great if they put a video on YouTube. There are other products there but not exactly this one. I'm glad I purchased this, but what a struggle.Instructions were very hard to follow due to lack of information & detail, but once I figured it out it wasn’t hard to put together. The rods are kind of flimsy but seem to be holding up alright. One of the stitched pockets that hold the rod for tension was torn, preventing that part of the tent from staying taut. My son loves it on his bed & that’s what really matters, but for the subpar quality it’s not worth the price.Great quality fabric and such a cute design. Here’s to hopefully getting our little guy to sleep in his own bed!!! (I put the tent on top of the supports and just slid the mattress inside). Love that it has pockets on each end for him to store his water, light, etc.I would have given a higher rating if not for the poor instructions on assembly. Not even a decent illustration there. We had to divine it all by ourselves with a lot of trial and error to until we finally identified the channels in the tent to insert the poles that provide structure. The tent material is dark and the insertion points were totally unmarked. You will need a flashlight to find them and a fine sense of touch to make the insertion points work. Fortunately, once you identify one, the others become more obvious. Additionally, we only intuited how to secure the poles from slipping out once inserted with the catch pockets. Otherwise, once assembled, great tent! It's a very sturdy tent. My 4 year loves it. My issue is that the instructions weren't that great. I've put up 6 man tents without instructions that were easier to put up than this.I wish they were longer, there is a portion of the bed that doesnt get covered. With that being said, my kids love it. Its like sleeping in a tunnel!!
